Visited Al’s Bar & Grill, also known as Al and Tim’s Bar & Grill, in Parkville, Missouri a few weeks ago. I had heard about their “award winning wings” and was excited to try them. We visited on a Sunday around lunchtime.

Al’s is a sports bar in a strip mall right off Highway 45. It has a nice, big bar and plenty of seating. We were instantly greeted and seated as we walked in. The service was great throughout our entire visit. I told the waitress that I was there to try the wings and she said, “you won’t be disappointed.” Unfortunately, I was.

You can order the wings in increments of 10, 20, 30, and 50. She said they were small wings, so I ordered 20. They cost $23.99. As the photo above shows, they look pretty good. The wings I was served tasted like they were freezer burned. I hate it when that happens. In fact, if you advertise “award winning wings,” this should never happen.

I know people personally that have had the wings and told me they are fantastic. That was not my experience.
